Rexel Group launched online Climate School

Corporate responsibility has been at the heart of Rexel’s strategy for more than 15 years, and issues of sustainable development and the acceleration of the energy transition are becoming increasingly important in daily work. Rexel is firmly committed to promoting and implementing a sound policy of sustainable development that requires the commitment of every single employee – in their workplace and location. In this context, raising awareness among all teams of the fundamentals of sustainable change is essential.

The European Sustainable Development Weeks (ESDW) 2022 will take place from September 18th to October 8th.  This three-week initiative aims to raise awareness on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda, adopted by United Nations member states in 2015, through the implementation of initiatives promoting more responsible, green models.

In support of this event, the Group is offering to all its employees the “Rexel Climate School“, a new e-learning platform designed to help them perfect their knowledge and understanding of climate and sustainable development issues. The program includes nine chapters, each one covering a specific theme, illustrated by a five-minute video followed by a quiz.

Rexel encourages all of the employees to join in on this initiative and dedicate some time to learning more about these fundamental topics.  The Rexel Climate School aims to increase your knowledge on key topics that go beyond the daily business and form the foundation for a more sustainable future for all.
