Rexel and LAPP Cable expanded cooperation in China

LAPP Cable company has been a global representative of flexible industrial control cables since its inception in 1959, with a notable brand and quality reputation. As an international multinational group, LAPP entered China in 1999, setting up sales offices and manufacturing centers in cities such as Shanghai and Beijing, covering various types of highly flexible control cable, data transmission cables, optical cables, cable glands, cable hoses, industrial connectors, cable identification, and cable accessories, with annual sales of nearly RMB 800 million.

LAPP and Rexel began collaboration in China in 2019, and through mutual efforts and collaboration, we achieved significant growth in sales from RMB 2.2 million at the beginning to RMB 10 million in 2022. During this period, the two parties continuously strengthened high-level communication and regional business cooperation, planned comprehensive cooperation that helped both parties’ business development. The one-stop service concept, system integration, and digital capabilities of Rexel gained recognition and support from suppliers. In the 2023 fiscal year, LAPP once again increased its attention and support for Rexel, opening up sales rights of the entire product line, expanding customer scope, offering better price, which helps to develop business prospects and enhance market competitiveness.

In response, Rexel China is also devoted to the cable market. In 2023, Zhonghao Technology has actively participated in LAPP’s business development. At the start of the new year, Zhonghao signed its first cable sales order of the year with a customer (Shanghai Kezhi Electric), and the purchase amount reaches RMB 600,000. Rexel’ s sales, technical, and service capabilities, as well as coordination with suppliers, have been increasingly improved and strengthened. It is believed that through the parties’ new strategic cooperation, we can demonstrate our strong resource advantages and undoubtedly increase customer loyalty and improve our competitiveness.
